Dreamweaver was the first band I was in that were writing their own material, we couldn't find a singer so we would just jam for hours, we wrote about 40 different tracks, all instrumental, it was very much like Rush but without the singing. It went over the top of most peoples heads really, we would play in pubs and the audience were a bit confused, it was just music, when do they play something we know? We were liked by other musicians. To make the tracks more interesting, we played in all sorts of time signatures, very difficult but it taught me a lot about drumming.

Powerdrive was a band I was in twice, first time was 1984-1986, the second time was 1988-1990, this band was mega fun, constant laughter, and drunken stupor, I`ve still got the tapes to prove it. We played all over East Anglia. In this band I used to set fire to my Drum kit, gun powder, mentholated spirits, fireworks, any thing that would blow up really, dangerous but it looked good....
just one for the lads...! Gizza!... I haven't got a tissue!
This band should of had a serious health warning.....!?

Too Deep Song about something personal

I was asked by my friends Ness and Aidy to right a song about their baby Jodie, sadly she didn't make it, but she has two lovely twin sisters, and my god child Toni.

My friend Mark sutcliff came to me with a song he said might suit me... so he left me with the acoustic guitar part and I got to work on it...
it turned out a bit different to what he thought it would but that's artistic licence for yah! Mark plays in a band called Trespass.

This was a song I did in my studio as I was teaching myself how to use it... please excuse the overwhelming effects... I was a beginner... I think this was a song about something personal.

Another song to help me learn Cubase VST, the software studio program I use... I got the girl next door to do some vocals for me (Rebecca Pooley) good job she could sing!... I would have been stuffed.
She Moves ©
A young girl came to my studio to record a track called "She Moves Through The Fair" it's an old folk song, but she wanted to do it in the style Boyzone did it in, so me and my mate Nigel Coote got the muzic all ready for her and it was done, then I had a go at putting a modern slant on it. just an experiment, but good fun!

First track I did in my studio! I always wanted to write a peace of muzic for a film like James Bond 007, so this is my attempt...
11th Of September ©
My first attempt at a piece of orchestral muzic, I dedicated it to those who lost their lives on 9/11.
